1-30chl Apple Shakira dissapointing run no real excuses for me in receipt of 7lbs *maybe over hyped
2-50chl Santini ran okay first try at 3m only a 6yo this was good experience for the future *more wins very likely
3-30chl Native River what a superhorse trained for this race jumped for fun "just wanted to please" *thankyou

So by number 9 you don't want Jamie Carolgees to back your treble

Yes SuperTed that's the idea of this posting, learn as i go along, and try to stay disciplined.

Today looks a very weak day of racing.
Decided to give the treble a miss.

Luck of the Irish with your L15 plus bet.
( make sure to put it ON! )

HUGH TAYLOR on 19mar18 ...9:18
.....writes the following

"One of the challenges of being a day-of-race tipster these days managing to ignore overnight price moves,
the opening shows on minor all-weather meetings in particular often miles off the mark, and despite swingeing
overnight price cuts (accelerated by a non-runner) I think CALEDONIA LAIRD is still the one to be on in the
opening 7f handicap at Lingfield today (2.20).

He shaped as if he had returned at the top of his game when third at Wolverhampton last month in a much better
race than this following a six-month absence, undone by the steady pace but travelling well and finishing with
running in him, and his subsequent 1lb drop in the weights looks very generous.

If that is indeed evidence that he’s close to his best, he’s going to be hard to beat here, as he has plenty of
all-weather form over the last couple of years (including over this sort of trip) that would suffice here unless
any of his rivals shows improved form on their previous efforts this winter.

I had Caledonia Lad disputing favouritism with World Of Good, who won cosily last time but has a much more
difficult draw today, and with the remainder either out of form or on the downgrade, Caledonia Lad looks
worth backing."

4-00saw Holiday Magic beaten by the gambled on (Monks Stand) SDS special *now 0-18 unfairly climbing the handicap
