I have had some nice winners, but also I am messed about by chasing losses that just get nuts :x
A database and a system to follow that would guard against whittling away my small successes would be ace

Seen you on Quora.com were you mentioned studying trainers, can I suggest David O'Meara :?:

...
Yes David OMeara is a good choice, i think it would interesting to compare & contrast
the methods of trainers from top, middle and lower class spheres. David OMeara is middling with ambitions.

some thoughts

Postby Dynamite21 » Fri May 21, 2021 7:16 am

 ...
where does the trainer have most and "least" SUCCESS.

highlight the difference between jockey's STABLE rides compared to outside bookings.

denote jockey's with the SAME agent "ive never seen Luke Morris& Adam Kirby in photo finish".

my instinct tells me that the table IMPORTANCE should be given an order of priority.

the TRAINER is the "king pin" David O'Meara has an army of horse to draw upon.

therefore his next task is to think about the RACE CONDITIONS, fundamentally race going, race distance
(might absorb COURSES into the above table.

HORSE RACES is the next point of decision focus.

he will now begin to plot out a plan for particular HORSES.

JOCKEYS do as they are told, if he wants to keep his job.

OWNERS pay the bills (£1500 a month + horse purchase price) i would expect a "betting coup" and "lays a GOGO".
their motivations will vary ...gambling, entertaining day out for family/friends, may want to win a BIG race, breeding/stud possibilities.

(now i can begin to flesh out the individual tables ...base on these headings)
