I had something like this in before Dynamite, not sure if it was before you joined maybe?

The way I did it required a lot of database space but I have upgraded the server since so it might not be as much of a problem.

I was also concerned that new tipsters or those with poor records would be discouraged from explaining their tips if they didn't get many views. I think it is generally a good thing to see though and will consider adding it back in.

Feedback...

I don't think lifetime ROI% paints an accurate or useful picture. Changing to annual data,
like Hugh Taylor displays, would open up new possiblities and insights. Hopefully it will
reveal tipster progression, level of activity ...etc.

SuperTed is a good example of this. He had a fine time of it last year but this is masked by
previous crimes :D

only joking ST

Superted is without doubt one of the most improved tipsters since he joined. I think the solution may be to have another table next to the all time results showing the last year or so. Will have a think.

Brian,

what about researching some Race Competitiveness rating Tools.

SuperTed must think "the bigger they are, the harder they fall".
Whose races on Saturday 26aug17 ...were too hard to solve.

We need to aim to pick the low hanging fruit ie. focus on the easier to
solve races if we want to bag a big Fourtimer.

I can narrow down based on race type and number of runners I think. What else do you have in mind Dynamite?

Brian it amazes me how little horse racing software is available for punter to use. A have a old program somewhere, i think it's called RACE SELECTOR. Choosing the best races to study makes perfect sense to me.

I will try and dig out some details about this software it's buried in my ever increasing hoard :geek:

I know what your saying D21 mate but its winning Hollywood money with small stakes and sometimes all the winners are available on the board BTW thats why I looked at an additional trebles/accum perm that had selections in all different races anyway I appreciate feedback mate :D
