Thanks Tracy, yep I think you are right, win only and then we can have 1, 2 or 3 for points.
For fav I think we should go off the start price for simplicity yep.

Definitely have to tip in every race and £10 per entry sounds good too I reckon :)

So they will be recorded at the prices they were tipped at at the time but we will be using the SP fave just to decide the favourite for the sake of the points system? Sounds good. Are we all sorted then? Are we having a prize for the biggest odds winner?

Yep, I think we should go off SP full stop tbh and I think a prize for biggest winner would be good too Tracy.

It's a good start but we'll await some more feedback before making anything official :D

Yeah, SP all round is good. Saves any arguments, not that we would do that though
So we would just need to put the race time and selection. 1pt for a favourite. 2pts for a non fave and 3pts for a 10/1 upwards winner.
Now we just need people to agree/disagree please....whenever you're ready folks :-p ;)

I am going to match BV's offer of sticking £100 in the prize money kitty for the Cheltenham comp.

I'm still not quite convinced by the 3pt system that I suggested before because in some races the favourite might well be 10/1.

Would people prefer us to go with a simpler profit based system? It would be win only and based on start price so not too difficult to keep track of actually.

Win only, profit system calculated from SP....
Gets my vote :D
And super generous of you to double the pot too!!!
Will you be adding some kind of Paypal link for us to pay our tenner?

Happy to go with the consensus Brian, whatever is decided is fine by me. Looking forward to seeing our Queen in action again for this... she is a bit 'jammy' when it comes to these competitions :). I will be backing her biggies that's for sure!

Thanks both, I think I need to stop faffing about and make a decision.... so profit based, win only it is! Entry in every race mandatory.

I will sort out a proper page with rules and stuff and another official thread in the next couple of days.

There's £200 in the pot to be won and nobody has technically entered yet!
