I appreciate not everybody notices when a new blog posts has been posted up so I am creating this sticky thread to announce them and link to them directly so people can find them easier.

Secondly BV and his advice for choosing tips to follow from the tipster table: http://www.bettingtools.co.uk/blog/who-to-follow-what-to-avoid/

Another excellent piece from BV just posted. Moving from the betting theory into some specific pointers for finding value on the horses. I still have a lot to learn with the horses so found this particularly helpful. Thanks mate!

Another fantastic article from BV. You really know your stuff. Can't you write a book and make extra money from doing this kind of thing? You're very good at it. :D

BV's latest blog post covers the importance of Confidence and Optimism in Sports Betting.

I think the takeaway from this is to have the confidence and belief to back the bigger prices even if the market doesn't have faith.

People who tend to be negative and cynical look for quick wins or safe strategies (shorties) that are very unlikely to show a profit in the long term. I have seen this first hand a number of times.

Next article is tissue prices and rating systems explained and will be posted later today.

Thanks very much BV. We are all enjoying these so keep up the good work! :D

Another BV special! Tissue Prices and Ratings Explained

You could be forgiven for thinking that this might involve BV moaning about his manflu again (just kidding mate) but no this is not anything to do with Kleenex and is purely excellent value hunting advice!

Not long after writing this he went and landed a 33/1 winner that he said was 11/4 on the tissue. If there was ever a blog post to really pay attention to it's this one.

BV's latest master piece and my new favourite: http://www.bettingtools.co.uk/blog/value-betting-the-bv-way/

Here he explains what value betting means to him and talks about the time he was making so much from it that he was able to quit the day job!

It has been debated a few times before on how best to use the excellent tips we have on our tipster table and whether creating a portfolio of tipsters a good way to go or whether you can have too many tipsters.

Well BV and a friend have trialled this kind of approach in his latest and very interesting blog post on portfolio based betting.

It will be really interesting to follow your progress here BV.
